We are in the process of hiring our 2017 staff.  Applications will be accepted through February 17, 2017.  Interviews will take place between February 23 and March 1. If you are interested in employment with Seminole Pool please fill out an application.

We are hiring for all positions.

Head Guard: The Head Guard will primarily perform the duties of a Lifeguard.  The Head Guard will assume the role of the senior staff on duty when a manager is not present. This position will be paid hourly. Applicants should hold current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid, or be able to have these current by opening weekend.

Lifeguard: Applicants should hold current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid, or be able to have these current by opening weekend.

Instructors: This position teaches swimming or diving lessons. It can be combined with one of our other positions as well. Applicants should hold current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid, or be able to have these current by opening weekend.

Front Desk/Concessions:  This position requires that applicants have completed 8th grade by the end of the current school year and will be entering as High School Freshman in the fall.

Once you are hired, we’ll need from you:

  • W4 – all paid employees, you will get this at clean up day and it will be due on your in-service day. You will need your social security number for this form
  • Background Check – Employees 18 and older must fill out before they are allowed to work a scheduled shift. These will be available at the pool.
  • Front Desk/Concessions Work Permit Request or Work Permit Request for Lifeguard – All employees 18 and under must bring a completed form to the pool before they receive their first paycheck. You must have these done at your school or district office. Processing time is usually a week, so plan ahead. We will refund the $10 processing fee to you.

For those people who are interested in being a lifeguard in the future, or possibly being on the substitute list this summer, please visit American Red Cross to obtain your lifeguard certification.
