Pickleball Lessons

The fastest-growing sport in America has arrived at Seminole Pool & Tennis Club. We are expanding our offerings with four new courts, along with introductory lessons for both kids and adults to help you learn the game and sharpen your skills. We also have paddles and balls available for rent at the front desk, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun. Fees for pickleball lessons are charged in addition to your annual Seminole dues.

Registration for Pickleball Lessons opens Thursday night at 8pm before the session begins.

2026 Session Dates:

  • Session 1: June 15 – June 26
  • Session 2: June 29 – July 10
  • Session 3: July 13 – July 24
  • Session 4: July 27 – August 7
  • Session 5: August 10 – August 14 (one week only, limited classes)

Junior Pickleball Lessons

Introductory pickleball classes for kids that provide a playful and accessible entry point to the sport, focusing on teaching fundamental strokes, simplified rules, and essential hand-eye coordination through engaging drills and games.

  • Level 1: Introduce your child to pickleball and learn the basics of the game. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and sportsmanship within a safe and supportive environment. These classes aim to foster a love for pickleball while building essential motor skills and promoting a positive learning experience for children of all abilities. ($55)
  • Level 2: Classes for older kids ages 13-18 looking to elevate their game by refining existing skills and introducing strategic play, focusing on advanced stroke development, court positioning, and tactical awareness through challenging drills and gameplay simulations. ($55)

 

Adult Pickleball Lessons

Introductory classes for adults to learn the basics of pickleball, along with the rules and scoring. The focus will be on teaching the fundamental strokes and essential hand-eye coordination through engaging drills and games.

  • Adult Beginner: Introduce yourself to pickleball and learn the basics of the game. Classes will include a fundamental guide to the rules, scoring, and strokes, along with tactical strategies and shot placement. ($45)
  • Adult Advanced: Take your game to the next level with high-intensity classes designed to take your game to the next level. Emphasis will be placed on strategy, pro-style drills, and preparing players for competitive play. ($45)

Social Nights

Seminole is also excited to announce a free social night every Friday night from 6:30-8:00pm. These nights prioritize fun and camaraderie over intense competition, offering a relaxed atmosphere where players of all skill levels can mingle and enjoy casual open play. They are accompanied by music and refreshments, and provide a welcoming space for social interaction and connection among all of our pickleball enthusiasts.

 

Picklepalooza

Seminole’s 2nd Annual Pickleball tournament for all ages returns in September 2026! More information and details to come.
